Our condo is pet free and smoke free for your comfort. There is no smoking inside or on the decks of the property. Our beach home has a distressed 'beachy'" look with incredible newly refinished distressed old tobacco barn pine wood floors throughout which gives it a comfortable and relaxing feeling. I love the small spaces between the boards because the sand from toes ends up in them until vacuumed up. If you are looking for a typical high-end hotel/motel vacation with a pool, this is not for you. If you are looking for a lovely, comfortable, relaxing, peaceful, sand and very close oceanfront vacation for your family this is the condo for you. As you enter from the street front door, you already see the ocean waves because there are so many glass sliding doors and windows. The oceanfront of the condo is almost all glass. The kitchen has a large ocean view glass sliding door on the side and the living room has side windows and ocean view sliding doors and large windows which is almost 180 degrees oceanfront. Access to the beach is from the large ocean front porch to the back door, down 8 steps, and then another 3 step from another deck and there you are! SAND IN YOUR TOES! I have beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys in a locker underneath the condo for your use. If you need an umbrella, you need to bring your own though! A perfect place to relax, play, read, laugh and enjoy the sand and water!
Many of our guests return year-after-year as a family tradition and/or return for a second week later in the summer. We also have winter snowbirds who have returned every year for 6 months. We only rent weekly from Saturday to Saturday from April to November. November through March is monthly.
Access to the water's edge is probably easier and quicker than any place on the beach with only 11 steps down to beach level. Being on the first floor, both the living room and master have large glass sliding doors for a complete close oceanfront view and walk out to the large porch and beach. The waves can be heard even with the doors closed! Master bedroom has a king bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin. From the oversized, covered porch there is direct backdoor access to the sundeck, beach and outside shower. Both living room and master bedroom are oceanfront and have access the porch. Rocking chairs on the shaded porch make this a wonderful place to relax, enjoy family and ocean. Less than a ten-minute walk to the Garden City pier.
Especially suited for anyone who wants easy access to the beach and wants to listen to the waves all the time. Great for families with children. You can enjoy the porch and keep an eye on your kids on the beach just a few feet away. Great for couples who want a getaway. Just great for everyone!
